About Me

For most of my childhood, I was fascinated with how media was made. Originally I was a film student, prioritizing editing. After a semester of the film program, I came to realize that I did not have the same level of passion for film as I did for games, and then switched majors to Game Design.

Programming and technology were somewhat foreign to me, so I had to work extra hard in keeping up with my schooling. Eventually I earned a Bachelors Degree in IT with a focus on Game Design.

I was then brought on a startup for a game studio, working remotely with other team members in Unreal Engine. My primary job was to help with level design before switching to music. Many members of the team left at this time due to many reasons. I stayed to continue developing a game of my own idea, but due to issues within the company, I left. I continued learning Unreal Engine on my own through Udemy, completing a class and developing smaller game demos.

Due to the currents trends within the game industry, I am now pursuing IT and Software engineer roles. I am currently pursuing CompTIA A+ certification to better my skillset whilst improving my programming skills.
